Yeah, good on ya Berro, lookin good, u still gunna do the Monaro? How far off are u from doin the mechanicals on the hatch? I havn't done much to mine, have done the front guards and attempting the tail light swap as we speak.

Thanks Guys.

Its funny how life gets in the way. I have been doing a lot of air brush work over the last 6 months and then picked up the kingswood and started stuffing around with that.

Yeah greg the monaro is still sitting there waiting to go. Im excited about getting stuck into that one but she is going to make this build look like a walk in the park.

I have most of the parts for the Torry ready to go and I cant wait the get her back together. If i can remember how!

Here is the pasenger side nearly done.

Because im still working on it and i dont want to leave the rub through to metal areas exposed i use a single pack epoxy in a can. I mate introduced me to this. Its a great product that prevents surface rust between work. It all gets blocked back before final 2pack epoxy.

Interesting, I contemplated using something like this.
Could this potentially be problematic, Having a single pack product in the middle of 2k epoxy? Will the filler absorb this stuff? Does it wipe off with thinners which in turn makes it a weak layer?

But not having to set up and clean a spray gun at every stage of bodywork seems blissful! Then you can do it all at once to seal it for good!

Are you close to water/ humidity? I have left rub through areas for 3-4 days without any issues. Although my car is in a insulated double brick garage and we are in a decent spring period here in SA. Still, I'm weary of leaving it too long!

Keep at it!

Hi Greg,

If the price is right and you have the cash buy it and put it to the side good examples will only get more expensive. Once you finish your hatch you will need something to keep you busy. I m building the Munro for the misus because she loves them too.

UCANG,

I only use it to seal small metal rub throughs when i know that the car is sitting for more than a week.

I always block it all back off again.

I finally dropped the car in for paint should get it back early feb! YAY!

Airbrished this on the weekend.

Damn those lines look STRAIGHT on your hatch. I don't think I've seen such definition down the sides of a Torrie before. Nice work.

Nice job of blocking the Torana Berro. Love the airbrushing too. Thats cool as as long as it doesn't end up on the Torana.
