Hey tyre biter- i was lost in the wilderness so I was trying find my way back to my torana mojo!
My compessor blew up (3rd cheap one) so i have saved up to by a 17 cfm 100litre unit. It rips!
I have done most of the blocking down and need to do some fibre glass work on my rear spoier and bonnet scoop. I not happy with the lines.

Using an old bonnet as a guide i cut the edges of the scoop to get the height to 100mm. I used the edge of the bonnet as a guide to get the shape right.
I will extend the tip to meet the nosecone.

I am going to use L brackets to hold the bonnet scoop down.
Put a few more layers of fibreglss where the brackets will meet the scoop. Added a few more layers to the tip to make it stronger.
I will counter sink rivets at these points and then skim over the top of them with filler.

Just looking at it though, will the back end of it definitely clear the windscreen, wiper arm and plenum cover with the bonnet raised? I don't mean to sound like a smartarse but just thought I'd mention it, just in case.
