What to do with a smashed torana shell?

My mate Tim bought a smashed up LX Torana for parts and after striping out the shell i helped him chop it up and he gave me the rear cut so i could make a BBQ out of it. Im undecided after making a proper frame for it and some beer holders to paint it up like a SL/R 5000 with boot wing and decals or leave it the way it is as the former car it was.
Heres some in the build so far pics
As tim bought it
Gutted out awaiting the chop
Tim chopping it up
I trimmed it up but it will nead more later on
what was left of the old BBQ
my mate jezmo and i after sitting BBQ in boot
Somewhere someone forgot to take photos of using it so after a few beers dragged out some traffic lights
Ready for the next BBQ however will still have to make a frame up for it and fit the bootlid
Anyone else got one out the back?

Can I have your BBQ? I really would like to get my hands on an LX bum section........ Or maybe you can just cut the taillight bits out for me? You could just blank up the holes with something, nobody will know

In my defence, all my bits were salvaged from mainly damaged and rusty panels that came from a heap of different swap meets.
I also have another bumper with shite chrome that I'll put on there once it's painted - then that chrome one goes back to being a spare for my car.
The bits are out there guys - you just have to find them and then use your imagination.

Sure no worries LOL
I can get my hands on a UC hatch with bugger all rust so i might chop this one up next to make up a LX hatch

No, no, no! Don't do that.
Send that sedan to me, I'd like a 4 door for the missus...... It still won't fix my UC taillight woes though....... Mmmmm, BBQ (hint)

need to fit some UC tail lights
They are good for a BBQ , no good as a donor car for a UC , as all the parts are inferior in design !

Yours looks awesome! Nothing better then standing around a BBQ talking shit, beer in hand and adding a torana into it just tops it off!

A while ago a saw a photo of an LX front end on here, built into a BBQ painted in Marlboro HDT colours.
I thought it looked fantastic.
I can't seem to find it. Can anyone help?

you could extend that bit on the a frame and put a spa on there. The eventual plan of mine is to put a BBQ in the boot. Will be the ultimate summernats cruiser then!
