Hey Guys and girls.
I haven't been on here for a while as I've had a hectic last few weeks!
I did finish my Torana just in time for my sisters wedding (the night before) and the day went great! Although the rain didn't stop they had an awesome time still and the car went great!

So in the end I decided on the commodore colour poison ivy and am pretty happy with the outcome!
So yeh I have about 100 photos of the rest of the build to post up but for now just the important ones of it finished!

So yeh I completed the rebuild in just over 3 months (stupidly) and now know that I'll never be setting an impossible deadline like this again Ahaha it was my first complete resto and I've learnt alot and had a great time doing it!!

Due to working at a panel shop for half a year with some great mentors I have developed some handy skills that helped me complete her but I've learnt that mechanically I still have alot to learn and any help/guidance on certain things would be greatly appreciated.

There's still a little bit to be done to finish her off but I plan on taking my time to get her to a point that I'm happy with. :)

So yeh thanks for the positive comments in the past and I hope you enjoy the photos to come :)

It's incredible how similar this build is to mine so far! I bought my lh looking close to exactly like yours about 5 years ago off an old lady! About 6months ago I decided to get the rust cut and besides the passenger side quarter and rear door it was spotless! So I'm waiting for rust to be finished so it can be brought back home to be painted. Urs looks amazing mate a brilliant effort for the time that you had, it's gorgeous!

i also bought a 350 holly whitch i eventually fitted:

and thats basically how she looks now.
since then i have replaced the gearbox as the main seal (whitch i should have replaced originally) was stuffed and the gearbox itself had a few issues.
i put a kit through my old box and all new seals and now it goes alright except for the fact that the torque converter stall is too low! (i was sold the wrong converter)
so i will be pulling it back out again next weekend hopefully for the last time in a while!!

other than that i picked up my new rims:

okay so heres a few more pics:

Did those wedding ribbons leave scratches on your bonnet?

Mate the car looks great, you've done a great job. That colour is so close to my original jade green. Where did you get the carpet from looks like it fits nice?
