auto fiction quotes sevens "veteran v8 executive producer murray lomax" as saying,
(shortened version)
for the vast majority of rounds, youll see all of the qualifying.....highlights of support categories before live race one. sunday will be two v8 races shown.race two with a small delay, third race aired live.
winton ,oran park and willowbank clash with the afl and a "seamless transition from afl to v8s and from v8s to afl will be seen "through those afternoons"
so its over to cromley at the g for an update on hawthorns blown headgasket
thanks all tied up at 1-6-12 against 2-0-12 back to mark berretta at willowbank for the low down on akermanis lighting pit stop....

BUT But But !!!!
Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 will receive a record 20 hours of coverage.
Signature events such as the Clipsal 500 (9 hours),
the Gold Coast Indy (12 hours)
and the Sandown 500 (8 hours)
so maybe i could get used to Seven doing it

But but but !!!!What this clearly demonstrates is the best of both worlds for Sevens two major winter sporting investments V8 Supercars and AFL. There will be earlier finishes than normal at three events where our coverage will lead straight into the Sunday afternoon AFL match of the day

If its a choice between motor racing and AFL then AFL will win 9 out of 10. That's my bet anyway.
My prediction is: We are gonna get shafted big time!!!!
I will be happy for Chanel 7 to prove me wrong.

10 was dedicated to the sport, 7 is dedicated to AFL.
Its all about money, ratings and keepings off Eddie.

There lead up news coverage of the V8's certainly does not instill confidence.
Not long to go and we will find out I guess....
Bring It On

And I don't think the coverage was much superior than 10's at this stage.
Too many ads, whoops sorry, too many laps missed due to the "effing" ad breaks(I realise ads are a necessary evil). But, especially seeing broadcast isn't live couldnt this be amended so we dont miss any racing ?!?!?!?!
eg.
lap 59 we go to ad break,
resume telecast at end of lap 63,
1/4 way thru lap 64, CRASH - pace car - ad break
resume telecast under pace car about 2 laps later ...
watch another lap and half under safety car, resume racing.
In other words between laps 59 and 67 we saw no racing ??? !!! ??? W.T.F. !!!
Disclaimer: The above data is I believe to be reasonably accurate due to my annoyed state at the time of watching BUT next time I have decided to make notes of ads times, laps missed, pace car laps, etc for a more accurate winge.
