Hi,
I am after the small clips that hold the linkage in place from the accelerator pedal up to the rod that passes through the firewall, on the inside of the cabin. The original clip has '4-L' stamped onto it.

Im sure this clip would be common to many model Holdens, but dont know which ones?

I couldn't find the clip on the rare spares website in the LJ Torana section but did find the clip set, part number CP 1035 in the HQ parts. This set of 4 HQ clips contains 2 identical clips, but they are the reverse or mirror image of the one I need and are stamped '4-R' and the other 2 are 'sorta' right and are not stamped with any numbers, but the hole is too small to fit over the linkage rod. I was able to drill 1 out carefully and it fits ok.

I wanted to know if rare spares make the correct 4-L clip and how can it be found on the website?

Also after the rubber bush for the top of the arm and linkage pivot in the engine bay, right behind the brake master cylinder, that pulls on the throttle linkage please.

i dont think we currently have that exact clip, but i will be able to have a closer look on monday hopefully

the smaller clip you used is listed as a 5/32" clip, we have the 3/16" inch version in mirror image to what you need, we also have 1/4" versions in both left and right in the kit CP1042

perhaps the 1/4" versions may get you out of trouble but so far it looks like we only have the 3/16" versions in one side

its after 5:30 now and the wharehouse is all closed up so i cant double check unfortunatly but ill try it on monday, if we dont have them then ill speak with our manufacturer and see if we can get some

iv spoken to a few people and ill get back to you as soon as possible, we are awaiting a list of possible replacements but iv been told we tried getting them many moons ago and didnt have any luck back then.

as soon as i know ill let you know
