It's on again,
The Classic & Musscle car club of Ipswich has organised another fun Drag Day to be held on October 1, 2011 at Willowbank Raceway, cost is $55 to race, thats Car, Driver & 1 Crew, Spectaters $20,
Come along prepared, long sleves, long pants, covered in shoes & an approved HELMET (AS1968) standard.
Please be at the gates by 1.30, & stay for the test & tune after wards for no extra cost.

Our Car club is not brand,make,or model orintated, we have all makes & models in our car club so we do not care what you bring,
All we hope for is that everyone has fun & nobody brakes anything

My Daughter was supposed to be working the Jamboree at W/bank and she just got a text to say it has just been SCHITTT canned for this weekend and postponed until Oct 1 - 2, so I guess the day has just taken it up the (until another) date?

Exactly right Mickeyd,
Until further notice this event has been put on hold until i speak to Willowbank managemnt (hopefully some time tomorrow),
Due to the weather foecast of rain for this weekend, willowbank (in there wisdom) have moved the Jamboree from this weekend (27,28 August) to the 1st & 2nd of October,(without even notifiying me, i found out through facebook)so until i can speak to them and arrange another date which wont be the following weekend due to Bathurst, the event has been put on hold,
Hopefully you can all still make it to the new date when organised, which will be posted here ASAP

Just to let everybody know who is intending on coming to the Club drag day on the 22, there will also be a display & a fundrasier for pink ladies breast cancer,
So if everybody could have somthing coloured pink on there car ie: ribon or even if they would like to wear somthing pink that would be great,
The display has been organised by a lady from our club & she has done so for the past few years, who herself has just come out of hospitial after having part of her spine opperatted on from sencondry breast cancer, so all the support would be great, not just for her but for everybody who has suffered from cancer in any way or form,
Maybe we might beable to convince extra people to come along to a great day & help show there support.

Pink eh??? Gunna have to borrow something because I have never owned anything pink in my life.
Nathan, tested the car with cams fitted today after running them in the last couple of evenings...... all I can say is WOW!
Look out mate, You're gunna be chasing me all the way to the line I reckon.

What a great Cause,I'm sure most of us have been affected directly or indirectly by this at some stage, Something Pink ay!
Would it be alright with you guy's if we brought along our Strike Me Pink GTR and i will leave my Pink Tu Tu at home.

Wish I could of got around to change the diff to the 3.36 though. Don't think the 3.08 is going to do it for me. Still got to put the over flow bottle on in the morning
