It looked really neat. I think it was VIC registered, but he was a manager at Autobarn (on the Hwy at the end of Gipps St)
I believe the wagon tanks are flatter across the rear than the sedan tanks. He still had a filler out the back as I remember, and he mentioned the exhaust routing though his fitted around well.
It all looked stock, welded in bracket mounts and all.

As I'm not going to flare the hatch I think the bigger hq tank will really suit it

So? If you don't like welding, whack an aero filler in the rear guard/pillar.........The issue the wagon tanks have is the filler neck is on the drivers side of the tank, closer to the front of the vehicle. The sedan has the filler in the middle at the rear of the tank, just like the LH/LX tanks. Which in theory should mean no welding is required.
