Thats magic mate. Looking forward to seeing it, a great colour.
As for having two hatches, thats just plain greedy!

Yep :spoton: , they were replacing the 1/4 windows today and yes it is a slow job but for the price, we can't complain.

Will have to get the plastic clips for the chrome window surrounds and I think Rares have them.

Growler you are right about the colour as you get more than one colour/shade with it depending on ambient light.

More trim to order yet but it will look fairly good when finished.

My idea is to have a Torana in good nick for the missus for when I go to Torana Heaven as she definitely can't drive a manual and definitely would kill my SS :sofa:

Good thing she's not on this forum

Still got the bumper rubbers and over-riders for the exterior and the interior is next with the carpets turning up next week.

Managed to get a good set of LC hubcaps to replace the EH ones.
They look good on the 6 inch SS rims and chrome trims :spoton:

G'day All The carpets and underlay turned up today and it looks like I'm gonna be busy for the next few weeks getting the interior done. Happy wife, happy life, well most of the time :fighting: Barry

Pete ... Didn't have the $$$$'s when that one came up

Paul ... Sprintmasters would look good but this is a budget build and we could only get the spray job done with sponsorship from the spray painter.

Tony ... Both Hatchbacks will be at Toranafest if funds will allow.

Thanks to all for your best wishes and words of "good job done"

G'day All

Well it has gone from this sorrowful looking site

There is of course some incidentals that need to be done like finding seat hinge covers, painting the steering wheel column etc but that can now be done at leasure.

The main thing for me was to have a presentable Torana for my wife to drive before I drop out of my tree.
And this is an auto as she could not drive my SS.

Many thanks to the following ....... Graham, Keith, Gene, Nigel, Joe, Rob and a couple of others that my feeble mind cannot remember :spoton:

Regards ,,,,,,,,,,,, Barry

Looks Great Barry. Got to be happy having two hatches in the garage.

Cheers Mick.

P.S. The hatch struts go around the other way.

Good one, that's how the spray painter put them back on and I was too busy with other stuff on the car to notice it..

I did exactly the same thing when I built my white hatch many years ago because it was about 3 months between removing them and then putting them back on.

I reckon they look better that way anyway. :D

Wayne, old is the word and doesn't my body feel it with our latest few nights down to -3.

Will have to check out Rares hinge covers Brad but ATM funds are low which is the norm of late.

Mick, I have a spare pair of struts some where in the shed so I might try them out as the ones on the missus's Hatch are not all that good and the hatch drops quickly when only a 1/3 if the way to go.
AND yes it is a very nice sight to meet you when you walk into the shed with 2 Hatchbacks sitting there :spoton:
