update..todays progress..moving forward nicely thanks to micks time donation, still knocking off a bit (well maybe a lot) more seam welding, this was completed with multiple areas on the go at the same time to ensure that each area just welded had time to cool enough that it would not warp or twist under continuous heating.
this in conjunction with the CRS chassis strengthening kit should stop the bugger twisting under load
-as always pic heavy
minor linishing just for a bit of tidy up, not that it will be noticed under the stone guard but make things nice and clean even where you cant see
primo penetration

Yeah baby!
I've never been game to pull the trigger on black rims myself, IMO they work on some (mostly darker) colours but not others, on a white car they just look like big black holes by the time you fit a black tyre on 'em.

Nope, take more out of the pillar if you're after big tyres.
I should have taken another 1/4" or so, 15x7, 3"BS, 215-60-15, touches just the smallest lil bit still.

Another Pic trying to show what was removed. The curved shape that is already there was pushed back further so the overall shape is pretty much as it should be.

trimmings on the other side
once all this trimming is complete looks like i will have to do a mock fit with new rims and tries and chassis kit to ensure things are going to go smoothly minus rubbing

One thing to add, when you move the floor back for wheel clearance, check your accelerator pedal for travel, you have to space them back sometimes.
