Your doing a good job mate. I can definitely relate as to how time consuming all the rust repairs take.

Great work, wish i had been able to tackle more of the rust repairs myself. It Cost me a small fortune! you can really see why though!

I wish I had the artistry, skill and above all the patience to complete these repairs myself! I just feel privileged that I can see, help and learn in the process and for it to be completed at home in the shed over a few cans

It's only when you pull the c pillar apart to you realise why they rust. Ridiculous design.

I think that's why the seam was left open like that, to let the condensation drain out of the C-pillars?
Seems like a bit of an afterthought if you ask me, I think the janitor might have slipped that part into the blueprints while the design team was at lunch!

yes very poor design , we pulled at least a handful of rusty cornflakes from in there.
im sure that when it rains heavy the water would fill the gap between the outer-side of the hatch seal in the gap at the top and run down to the area entering through the hatch hinge recess
i may be wrong though

there is plenty of fish oil going in there at the end.. car is going to be a slimy as a mackerel
