Stock stroke 308. standard bottom end with flat top pistons .060 over. Heads are red hq hreads, ported to roughly l34 spec 1.94 intake valves and 1.6 exhaust. Crow cams solid. Stripmaster manifold. 2" hvh carby spacer. 750hp street carby down jetted. Roller rockers. comp was 11:1 static.
Before the 750hp street carby I had a 650dp holley with a best of 12.40@108mph bolted the 750 on and dropped 0.2 and picked up 2mph. Had to drop 3 jet sizes all the way around but thats it.
Thanks

VN 304 stock crank & rods
Ported stock heads
Camtech solid flat tappet cam, roller rockers
Harrop single plane manifold 750HP Holley carb
Re-graphed Bosch HEI distributor
Stock 5/16" fuel line, OzRace mechanical fuel pump.
Off the shelf Pacemaker headers, dual 2 1/2" exhaust
Built by Ned Sassine from Hercules Competition Engines, it made around 480+bhp on pump fuel (98) & running a Top Loader trans, 3.7 gears & full exhaust this car recently ran an 11.2@124mph with a slipping clutch. A forum member disputed this claim not long ago in another thread but i know a few other members who seen this car in action on the day & also know it was driven to the track & the only changes made were to fit slick tyres before bolting the radials back on to drive it home. I can post pics for those interested as the owner is a friend of mine.

i`ve rebuilt my engine, just a freshen up, new rings and bearings, i had hurt the mains, but caught it in time.
dont know if a mentioned sprint event i did, i actually got oil surge, 1st time this has happened with the sump i was using(high energy pro circuit),
well after chatting to some people, and some sponsor help, i have fitted a dry sump setup to my engine.
oil pressure is the best it has EVER been.
just finished running in the engine, and have been sorting some teething issues.
if all goes well i plan on hitting the track ( for the perth people, its the twilight sprint at kwinana)
so fingers crossed, been almost 6 months since last event, im hangingfor this.

After seeing my two mates run their cars at the drags yesterday and post good quarter times, I kind of wish i went for a small solid cam now like the CC280. Maybe next time :-)

Actually the dyno only ran today due to some teething problems fitting the engine on the dyno and the guy being busy. It ran 398HP @ 6300RPM and he was expecting around 370HP so all in all pretty happy. I managed to go there this arvo before he had to pull it off the dyno and actually here it run since March this year and I must say it sounds even more angry than it used to. Had a CCH314 hydraulic cam before but with a shot lifter and a spun crank bearing. Still ran pretty well spinning in 2nd gear back then but definately sounds better now. I cant wait to have it back into the car and run it down the 1/4.
Heres the link to it running today on the dyno, not a HP run though just to show me it running.
