Hi all, help needed
Having trouble identifying this carby, can anyone help me ?
I was told it may be a Barry Grant 4150, 850 or 830 claw ?
Fuel bowls have Barry Grant
Metering blocks have Barry Grant and also A12320 stamped on the side. I cannot mach this number with BG parts list ?
Primary jets are 75
Secondary jet are 93
But the body only has BG and made in USA
Also help with basic setting as the jets seem big ?

Those metering blocks are used on the race demons and king demons
But yes you need more info to try narrow it

Butterfly are 45mm and the number 180 stamped on them.
The base plate has 1.75 stamped in the center and on the carb side.
The venturi is about 40mm
The secondary metering block has a dummy power valve plug.
Thank

Looks like a silver claw, the demon carbs have different fuel bowls. The 1.75" butterfly is nearly always used on an 850, as is the 40mm or 1.562" venturi.
Look here for all the sizes etc you are after. Even though the metering plate etc may be a different part number from the previous generation carb, its gonna be very close and will let you check if someone has been at it any real amount.

Well had a bit of a guise and bought 78 primary jets 90 secondary jets as a starting point. Also a 5.5 power valva as my cam is 250 / 260 duration. I think standard for a 850 is P 80 S 88 and power valve 6.5. But I think the metering block are not standard and it had P75 S 93 and a PV of 7.5
I would like it crisp down low (as its a standard stall converter) and a bit fat in the top end as its in a burn out car. Hope to get it to a dyno on Tuesday.
