While it is a good setup, I found that the recovery system didn't work that well. It would spew out from the top of the cap that had a hole in it and onto the underside of the bonnet.

I believe that is standard operation, not sure if the holes were drilled out after the install at the dealers as both the recovery systems that came standard on 2 of my UC's look drilled out.
Ive got around the sudden release of the coolant/overflow prob by simply putting a baffle in the reservior. You need something that can be squeezed through the opening and will float in the water rather than sink and block the entry/exit hole.
Ive had a simple piece of foam rubber in there for 15 years, it hasnt degraded even with normal castrol antifreeze mix in there.

I agree the inlet directly under the filler is a problem, but the bottle is too shallow as well, putting something inside to baffle it, is a good idea & i'm gonna do that to mine! :clap:
