Back of the car sits to high.

Yes, correct.................at the moment.
It has solid spacers instead of springs at the moment but also, that pic is taken from pretty low.
The axles are running straight. The body will come down another 25mm or so, this is just the "rough in"
See following pics. The sills will hopefully end up 125mm off the ground.

VP-VT1 IRS was the same diff as the live axle, VT2 to VZ(?) went to M80 but is still a Borg Warner

VQ? Statesman is the donor car.

Wow, almost looks too easy!

It was a lot of ground work, measuring tape etc. But the IRS was a late inclusion to to this project.

It, so far, has been easy. Angle grinder ZIP! ZIP! Hardest bit has been removing deadener (the stato is a stato and the hatch is SL/E) from the damn floorpans dammit!

The project has been in my brayn for years and has been an evololution in my brayn over that time.
I have files of ideas dating more than 4 years.

The focus at the moment it to get it to rolling/steering stage as I may have to move house soon.
I'm hoping to have it rolling tomorrow?

Is that UC hatch the same one your son pranged the nose of and you were doing a repair to straighten the rails out a few years back?

If it is, it looks to have had another smasheroo before you even got finished with the first crash.

Yes, I had got it back on the road and was preparing it for a complete respray then it was written off.

Not ideal I know. Neither is the rear end. But I've learnt a bit from setting up the frontend on the Grease Slapper and I'm happy with the set up.
Strut front end is kinda set and forget.
