Check that your doors still fit ok now that you have jacked the floor up, it may have altered things a bit.

The doors shouldn't be a problem. The hinge holes are elongated.

No real update to speak of, I've moved house so there are things to be done in that department
BUT!!!!!!
What can I say about 2 forum members?
1 picks up and e-bay item for me (a set of 4 into 1 estracktors), stores them at his joint for maybe a year? Then, takes them on a journey across Sydney to another forum member's house and THAT forum member makes a special trip to Melbourne, drops them off, then drives home to Sydney the same day.
THANKS YOOSE BLOKES!!!!!!
(I love this forum )

Well, actually, I have done something to it?
My boss has a VK with a 308, V? COME alloy heads (the ones with the different exhaust port configuration) and funny looking gearbox/bellhousing?
He bought "off the shelf" pacemakers, apparently to suit this build? but as a package it doesn't work.
The exhaust has no clearance to the rails, fouls on the rack and also the bell/housing and the weirdo sump fouls the "K frame"
So......................
I took the K frame inc. rack out of Franky and took it into work (later (VQ) Commodore have a different rack mounting to VK) for a trial fit.
It solved the rack fouling and with a bit of a wiggle I had good sump clearance. Still hits the bellhousing and still too close to the rails. Needs custom extractors with the rest of the combo me thinks?
But.................
That means I have a spick 'n' span (degreased and pressure washed) K frame ready to refit.
Cept..................
Do I rebuild it before I fit it? Or fit it now to make the car a roller again?
(It's in the way of my hoist which is another project)
