why is my rust not. not working damn it?

i painted my torana floor pans with rust not enamel rust proofer and it has gone all cloudy on me? what have i done wrong?

How was the weather? sometimes paint will go cloudy if its too cold when you spray...

Looks like its only cloudy where you painted over tar,paint or dirt.

ie,not bare metal.

Im guessing Chop is pretty close on this one.

What exactly did you use.
As long as it has all dried and has adhered properly it's probably OK.

Painted at 3.30pm on Bathurst day

Id say it looks fine to me, its all under the carpet anyway.

Hell my LJ is all flat black rust-kill industrial strength rust prood paint, painted on with a brush.

Similar thing happend with my LJ. I put mine down to poor prep (not cleaning the surface properly). Still does the job i think :dontknow:

What was the temperature when you started? What was the temperature two hours later? What was the humidity? What did you thin it with? How many coats did you put on? How long did you leave it between coats?

Answer those questions then i'll ask more.....

was there water in the grooves?
did you remove the rust before?
did you prepsol it?
and why did you spray enemel over acrylic?
