My guys had a ball! Some got 30+ runs.
My brother was absolutely stoked with his VE SS (white one with "freaked" plates) with a tune, extractors, custom exhaust and OTRCAI
he ran consistent mid-high 12s all day, 12.51 being his best for the day, all on street tyres.
Apart from throwing a bolt from the clutch ratrap at the end of the freeway on the way there, the Orange one ran like a dream (although not racing) and surprisingly, only used about 15ltrs/100kms from a rough calculation. (AVGAS)
The purple torry ran like a busted arse all day, something is amiss somewhere, swapping back to the old head for now while we build a motor up that can make the most of the alloy one (not enough compression, too small of a cam etc etc in the current motor) managed a high 14 or low 15 as a PB for the day, considering I ran 14 flat at 99mph last year, its a step backwards in a big way!
I'll grab some times from the other guys and whack them up as I see them.

use as a safety against detonation as a minimum.
ill be on the blower soon chasing up mr henman.
another august day i think but not near the all holden day maybe 2nd or 3rd week and hopefully the corowa 1000 is nowhere near us either.

my race hatch weighs 1365kg
the road hatch is 1373kg according to the wsid weighbridge.and im a fat prick so nearly half a ton all up.

Ta mate. I spoke to a mate with an A9X today & he said they range from 1290-1375 kgs depending on driveline etc. Sounds like he was right on the money

The stang moves Ok for a non stroker N/A.
It managed a best of 12.1 @ 115 at the recent Drag Day. Its got a bit more in it but Im worried about blowing the T5 ( hence the tip-toe off the line and granny shifts ).
It is what it is....a solid cruiser ( nothing beats cruisng down the highway, doing 110 and sitting on 2200rpm. ).

Just been watching some gmh Torana drag day vids on YouTube from the last few yrs, couldn't find any from this yr. can't wait to get out and join you's 1 day.
