Spent the better part of the weekend trying to finish a new set of extractors for the purple thing....

Maybe deciding to change to the new, big frOcker head was not the best idea a month out from the drag day... haha :D

So far we've had bent pushrods, rockers now touching rocker cover, header plates that dont fit properly, modified the inlet to suit and ten million more little problems!

Plus I'm trying to get my LJ ready to bring down too :)

Rob, can you also clear up a few questions from my lot for me-


- There was mention of bringing a second car/multiple cars along under one entry, is this still OK and what are the limitations (can you swap between them all day or only if one breaks etc)? Will those cars need to be scrutineered at the start as well?


- can people drive other peoples cars (i.e. Can my old man, who is the secondary driver on my brother's entry in his VE, jump into the torana that Karlie and I have entered, and vice versa?)


- can we bring a BBQ into the pits? (assuming the takeaway store wont be open again? pity, theyd make a killing at lunch time!)

yes you(by the word you i dont just mean chris it means everyone) can bring multiple cars but they are relevant to the primary and secondary entry they were nominated with, no swapping between entries.
the only way i will allow this is if you see me to give you the ok for you to do this.ie you have had multiple breakdowns early in the day,rather than you miss out on some fun.having said this though i will allow paid entrants that want to try one of their friends/families cars for a limited amount of runs but only after they run it by me first .please note this does not extend to those that are with you that have not paid and been registered if i find out otherwise i will send offenders home and never accept an entry from them again and advise any future organisers to continue this .as you can see i am being more than fair so dont push it.
i heard some stories from last year of some lets say sneaky runs but cant prove/disprove these.as i said ask first .
ill find out about the bbq.
and mitch good idea i can supply juice and water if need be.
the other thing thats a big no no if you have 2 cars is having both primary and secondary driver out at the same time.once again if you ask i will let you have a couple of goes against your partner but that is it a couple of goes and ask first .once again above applies if i find out otherwise.
all entered cars need to be scrutineered at the start of the day.

ok we are up to 41 with a couple more to come in .
does anyone know anthony stanco?he has paid for a double entry and hasnt provided any info maybe i didnt send him an email but if anyone knows him please hook him up with me.
john henman requires the list by wednesday.i will be sending it at lunchtime so its now or never.all payments need to be made before tuesday arvo 4 pm.
please contact me if this cant be the case as i have to send the payment to wsid on thursday.

Hi Rob,

Yep, Anthony Stanco is with me.
He drives a Blue LH Torana with a blown 383. Rego : PIG 383.

I'll resend the confirmation email to [email protected].
I've also got another mate in a VZ Ute who paid on Monday (July 29 ).
His name is Adrian Lombardo.
Has anything come through as yet?
