Diff Technics are pretty good.

You could try Diff Trans Spares, they build my Borg Warner to suit LX, however I wouldn't recommend them for the actual diff centres, the one they supplied started to get noisy after a year or so I had them recondition it, it got noisy again after 6-9 months (weekend driving only). They guy told me he reconditions the diff in his ute every 6 months.

I then took it to Diff Technics, they reconditioned it and it's been fine since.

funny that i had mine done at diff trans, they welded on the brackets fine. gave them a recoed LSD and 3.45 gear set to put together and set up the diff. got the car back and it was noisy.....took it back. they said the gears i provided were worn. they stung me $350 for a second hand set of 'good' gears. they are also noisy.....wnet back, they admit there is a noise but blamed it on other things like lack of insulation on the floor, and and the tailshaft??? i gave up. So i would not recommend them.

it will be a cold day in hell before i use diff technics again. after going to 3 'diff specialists' craft diffs was the only one who got it right.

diff trans shafted me as well . diff lasted 500k's and was noisy and clunking around like a bastard.clutch pack was stuffed wtf?it was a brand new 9 inch diff i got them to make for my red hatch.there must be some new bacteria that goes around eating the material .guess my xray vision was also playing up the day i picked it up otherwise i would have caught them out.i didnt want to say anything but after these similar stories i can only tell people about my experience .

I told Con at Diff Technics how I only had new shims put in 6 months back, he said, 'why don't you take it back to them to fix it?"

My reply, 'what and come back here in 6 months time?"

Lesson learnt, if they can't do it right twice, they sure as hell won't be getting a third chance.
