Very nice HK, amazing how a few changes improve a car so much.

Looks great. Silver mink with Goya trim is lovely, not sure I like the blue and red but it still looks awesome. How wide and what offset are the 18" wheels? I plan to fit black painted 18x8 V2II CV8 rims and 235/40/18 tyres to my Warwick yellow 327, just wondered if you get much tyre rub? Mine will not be lowered (I do not like lowered cars) so will be stock ride height.

The fronts are 18x8 with a 4 inch back space and the rears 18x9 with a 6 inch backspace Front Tyres are 225/40/18 and back are 265/35/18.

I get a bit of tyre rub on rear if l hit a good bump and can't run 3 blokes in the back.

Are the wheel arches and lips standard?

Bugger. I can't do that to a GTS327! I'll be running standard ride height so they might fit. Will have to wait and see. If not i'll use 18x7's in a retro wheel.

Love the interior! I really like the red against the blue especially with the little red bits like in the badging. Sweet as!

Can't believe I haven't seen this before... I prefer HQ shape Monaro's to the early girls, but this thing is just... I don't even have words. Well done on taking the risk with the red interior, it's come out awesome. I want to do something similar with my HQ Prem :D

Beautiful car.

Thanks Tim. One day it will come off the road and the exterior will get a full resto to bring it up to the interior standard. However for time being it is a great 10 footer. Minister for Finance also has to be convinced particularly given l have "Dirtbagging a BMW" on the go at present!!!

Cheers Macka

G'day Damian (Macka),

Nice looking HK. So much better than when you got it.

I'll keep an eye out for it at the car shows if you go to any of them.

Warren.

Thanks Warren and BullitljV8. No worries Warren l do attend the occasional car show however with a young family find it difficult to get to many. I try and attend ones in the Geelong and the region. However if l do you will more likely see the Torana LC GTR on display because it is a finished project. So keep a look out for it. The Monaro is more of a general driver although it doesn't see many Km's. Bullitljv8 I have to agree 100%. I reckon the "HK" GTS Monaro is definitely the best looking car to ever leave GMH doors.

Awesome ride Macka

Love the blue very close to Monza blue that red interior looks "right" to me thumbs up .

Those wheels look spot on to

That facebook link is the business

The only thing I I can't agree on is this "HK is the best coupe to ever be built by Holden"

We all know that the "HT GTS is the best ever as the HK had no nostrils in the bonnet for the fire to breathe and they managed to get the stripes in the middle too"

I'm agreeing with HK being the best

It was born in 68 ... just like me

So has to be the best
