Gonna polish these up and whack em on once she's painted
Nothing special I know, but budget build = budget measures.
I think they'll look alright anyway.

Love those convo's, they are the rims I will be getting next year after the big move. Haven't got flares so hoping to get a set with some offset probably from VPW. Got some stockies at home which are offset +4 with 235's on them and they fit under the rear guard perfect, could probably even could fit 245's on with the my shortened 9 inch.
Ahhh, you bought Kev's Sedan!!! I was always trying to talk him into putting Convo's on that!!!! If you are looking at buying locally, try Speed Pro in Dandenong, a mate just got a set there and the price was pretty much identical to the cost of getting them from the US.
I think with wheels like Convos, Drag Lites, Pro Stars, Autodrag etc, will make anything look good and they don't seem to date either!

Yeah Matty just got the car on the road actually. Had to spend a few thou to get it on the road but I'm pretty happy how its coming along. I still got some things I want to do to it yet including those new rims. Have anyone seen those street pro alloys at VPW, they are about $100 per rim cheaper and almost like identical to the centreline convo.
Any idea what they cost per rim at speed pro Matt?

Almost identical doesn't mean the same thing. I remember a friend quizzing why pay so much for Centerline when you can get CSA.
Firstly CSA were steel and Centerline were alloy and much lighter, Centerline also pride themselves on their quality control, each rim is within a certain tolerance of each other in weight. For that $100 difference you'd want to know why, if they're as good and if you can live with the difference between the two for the price.

I never said they were identical thats why I said almost. Not sure why they're 100 cheaper probably made in China, will have to ring and find out though. Both makes of rims are all alloy except the cheaper ones are one peice and the centreline wheels are 2 I think. Still if they are made by a quality maker then 100 over 4 wheels is probably worth it. I'll try and get in touch with VPW and find out the differences.

Chinese wheels would be a lot cheaper than $100 per rim.

LOL, I thought you were talking per rim.
You'd want them to be near identical in every aspect for that kind of coin, personally if you like the Centerlines spend the extra $25 per rim.

I think it was something like $300-350 per rim (15x10s and 15x7's)
I looked up the cost of getting two 15x10 Convos from the states and it was like $700 USD delivered... So pretty much the same cost, but you dont have to worry about getting them from the other side of the world!
