Chinese wheels would be a lot cheaper than $100 per rim.

LOL, I thought you were talking per rim.

You'd want them to be near identical in every aspect for that kind of coin, personally if you like the Centerlines spend the extra $25 per rim.

Yeah mate I meant 100 per rim so thats 400 over a set which is a fair saving in my book. Hey Chop what do you mean by PRC? I think when it comes to wheels and tyres chop any advice you give mate I'll certainly be taking heed of.

Yeah Matty just got the car on the road actually. Had to spend a few thou to get it on the road but I'm pretty happy how its coming along. I still got some things I want to do to it yet including those new rims. Have anyone seen those street pro alloys at VPW, they are about $100 per rim cheaper and almost like identical to the centreline convo.

Posted Image

Any idea what they cost per rim at speed pro Matt?

Just rang VPW and the street pro alloy is made in China exclusively for VPW. They are from 80-150 cheaper than the centreline convo pro and are 1 piece. So I guess that answers a few questions for us. Also the guy at VPW said that the LH,LX stud pattern is 108 pcd, can anyone verify that for us??

LH/LX stud pattern was designed in inches so 108 mm in not strictly correct but near enough.

PCD 5 x 4.25" (107.95 mm).

I would get a price on Convo's from the states with shipping by LS1 Hatch.

Funny thing is Matt i was initially going to get convo's cause a mate kept nagging me but i ended up with f90's in 17in but then went for the fr17's which are pretty much the same style only the centre is bigger. Maybe we should swap for a while including engines ;)

3" would have been a good fit for sure!

I just have side exit mufflers and exhaust, so no dramas with getting it run.

And looking at your car reminds me I want to lower the rear of mine about an 1" for sure :D

SS Hatchback.
That is one awesome looking hatch. How deep is the dish on those rims? It looks great. Have you got your guards cut and a shortened diff?
I dont know if my diff is shortened but I had to trim my flares and cut the guards for my 15x295's but the tyres are balooned a bit on the 10's and the car is 40mm lowered. (front needs to come down a bit more I think)
I have a twin 3" system and just got them to run it under the diff. Never scrapes.
I am currently looking at 17 x 10 and 17 x 8 but I am worried if they will fit.

Cheers LX SS , great looking hatch you have there :spoton:

My gaurds are cut a fair amount as i wanted it low and no scrubbing , flares are also trimmed so there is not much of a lip on them . Rims are 17 x 9 front and 17 x 10.5 rear , rears are 5in offset inner and outer with the centre in between making it all up 10.5, fits with no scrubbing but only running a 275/40/17 and probably have a little room to spare. Diff is standard width
