Got these Cheviot 7 x 13 hotwires for the missus's Hatch, now looking for centre caps for it as one has been lost.
Also looking for the right colour gold to touch up one of them
Can't have too big rims as it is on Historic rego
Has 68mm holes for the caps to fit but I've looked around and finding it hard to get the right size

You need to put a set of 14's on it Barry those look much too small. Nice hatch though, my favourite colour, would look even better with the blackout on the bonnet. Did you do it up yourself?

Phunny bugga, there is a fella some where near Burnie that has them at 5-finger discount
Would of had 10 broken fur king fingers if I would have caught him.

It was originally a Chamois sunbudgie but before we got it, it had been changed to a 202/trimatic with front and rear A9X spoilers & SL/R gauges.
http://www.gmh-toran...aka-nans-hatch/
I've done some of the work but not all of it.
Spray job (Ultra Blue), re-upholster seats, gear box change, disc overhaul were done by others where I re-fitted the seats, colour changed interior trims, re-enforced and re-fitted console, fitted brakes/wheel bearings back on, rust proofed the inside panels, fitted new radiator, 186S carby/manifold, bailey channels, rear 1/4 window rubbers, hatch rubbers plus a lot of the usual fiddly jobs like the radio etc.
If I put 14's on it then would probably have to change the diff ratio again and don't have the $$$$$$ for the mags plus tyres plus another diff.
I would like to have been able to say that I did do it up but as you can see, not the case but at least when some one asks I don't BS that I did.
The build is what I call a budget build and that is why the decal is on the rear 1/4 windows as the spray job was a sponsor job where we paid about 1/2 price for it and I colour changed some of the interior trim.
And had a bit of help from forum members for parts like the gearbox, brake over-haul, radiator, 6 inch rims etc
Not a show car but a nice job all the same that my missus can enjoy when I am not around anymore

I went for the Maxxis ones mate, just easier, and about the same price as getting some off eBay and shipped over and then fitted.
No one really said that they are no good, and a few even said they are the best of a bad lot, so I'll see how they go.
I've had a few sets of them on the 4by's and although we had problems with a set of Muddies I am putting that down to a one off.
Put new Maxxis on the Cruiser too and its like driving a different car. Have had 2 on the Hilux for a year doing 50 k's a day and they are still like new, so why not?
I'll check about the nibs, not really sure.

They have 4 little nibs, I guess that makes them nothing special hey?
Well, they are still widened with massive offset
