I want to check my Oil/Temp/Fuel gauges on the bench before they are fitted to the cluster. Oil/Temp/Fuel gauges are all identical in coil resistance. The fuel gauge resistance range is 10ohm to 73ohm.

What are the resistance values of the Oil/Temp senders?

I would imagine that because all 3 gauges have the same coil winding resistance of 15ohms that the resistance scale of between 10 and 73 ohms is the same for oil and temp?

From my notes Brad I've got, using VDO temp. sender p/n 320003 and Holden p/n 9932443, identified by a blue ring

Deflection on gauge is approx. 10 ohms for hot, 75 ohms for cold

Boiling water reads approx. 40 ohms

Hope this helps mate
