Its with a degree of anticipation that i announce that "Torana Tough - History of Torana 1967-1980" will be published in the first week of February 2012.
Many forum members will know of the book and some have generously read sections and provided input. The book will be similar layout to the "Monaro Magic" but I can say with a good deal more infomation.
A few sample pages have been posted on http://www.handpub.com.au under the Torana Tough tab.
There will be three versions available. Hard cover $59.95rrp. Limited Edition Hard Cover with a presentation slip cover $75.00rrrp (these will not be in shops) and a Leather Bound edition enclosed in a slip cover $120.00 (200 Signed copies and not available in shops).
Today I have mailed to the Torana clubs a special offer to purchase the book pre-publication. This offer involves a discount on the hard cover books and free postage for orders over 10 books.
As the forum has been a great research tool for the book I can also offer a $10 discount on the Hard Cover with and without a slip cover, I will also sign these books for forum members. There is a downloadable Order form at http://www.handpub.c.../Order-Form.php
Any cheques/ card purchases made will not be cashed/submitted until February 2012. This offer will expire on February 7th. 2012. Leather Books and Slips cover versions will be on a first come basis.

You can save the postage by either getting copies delivered in bulk (min 10) to a club address or if you reside near Ballarat get them picked up.

I thought I would post the Torana Tough back cover so the LH/LX guys don't think I have forgotten them. I actually have to convince my graphic guy to keep the LC XU-1 on the cover, he wanted the SL/R 5000, its actually based on one of the A9X club member's cars, hails from Tasmania and the original pic was taken in Wangaratta at the A9X Nationals.

Should of put the GMH Pink LJ V8 Prototype on the Front Cover Norm lol
