hi all, new to the site.
thought people may like to here a little about my project and see a couple of pics.

picked it up off a mate in cairns a couple of months ago, he had it painted and started cleaning her up, I'm just picking up from where he left it and hopefully will end up with a tuff street car when i'm finnished.
running a 308 blue motor with extractors, torker manifold and a 650 dp holley, with a trimatic in behind with a b&m mega shifter. have a set of yella terra heads, roller rockers and a crane solid cam to give her a bit more go, hopefully have it fitted up in the next few weeks. also had a new box built geartorque in brissy and a 2500 stall.
waiting for the postman to drop off a hopper stoppers kit i ordered before xmass.
undecided about weather to fit borg warner or a 9'' diff.

interior is slowly coming together with an slr dash door trims and steering wheel.

fitted new tank yesterday, looks great but is quite low.

let us know what you think.

Looks neat as. I would fit a front spoiler to compliment the scoop and rear spoiler then you would have a nice tough looking 4 door.

guess the chevy badge has to go lol, probably cheaper then fitting a chev. any ideas on a badge that will suit abit better?

LX Holden Badge. Pretty sure Rares makes them new.

PS. Just checked, they only do SS ones. Ask somebody on here, I'm sure there is a spare Holden one floating around somewhere.

IMO, lose the chev badge and the bobtail and don't worry about a front spoiler. I hate bobtails on cars without the full flare kit, including factory L34's. I think they just look out of place, but that's just my worthless opinion.
The rest of the car looks sweet!
I assume it was running when you took the pic of the dash? Otherwise your gauges need attention too...
Keep us posted on the progress!

Can run no badge on the grill at all if you want.

I agree it would look better with a front spoiler.... and flares :) but im bias.

Nice car tho :D
