Mmmmmmm ..... 253 this year pre entered, aim 308 next year Mmmmmmmmmm ...... Those numbers may have a special meaning for Torana owners

Mmmmmm .... Just can't put my finger on it but maybe if I go out to the shed and have a look at the badge on the back of my SS it might give me a clue

Mmmmmm ...Nah, that says 4.2

Mmmmmm .... Better have another think but my brain ATM is going 99 to the dozen thinking of what I have to pack for the Fest

Off to super cheap for some roof racks Barry !!

Not a good look on a Hatchback, but maybe back in 1976 it would have been cool

Had a funny but not experience back in 1968 when I was up at Palm Beach in Sydineee doing some surfing (Home & Away beach) and the thrust bearing on my Mini's clutch collapsed.

Phoned up Phil Barnes (purple Cooper S) who did all of the work on my mini and he brought his race car trailer up to get it.

Phil said "Gee that red Mini looks good up there with the wide wheels but I'm not sure about the roof racks"

Basically with my Hatch, if it don't fit inside then it doesn't go with me however, this time I am towing up a box trailer to bring some thing back.

I'm getting really antsy now.

I've spent every night this week in the shed with Karlie and the dog getting the torana cleaned up, back together and ready to go. Even been eating tea in the shed too. all the midnight bed, 5.30 wakeups are taking a toll though!

Everyone I've talked to can't believe that Karlie has been down there helping polish the chromework, paint, wheels etc. and tells me that she must be a good woman? I just thought that was normal behaviour? hahaha. (joking, joking, I know I have it good!)

Only a few things in the boot and some final polishing to go now! home stretch!

Keen as a been to bring the XU-1 up for the cruise on Saturday too
