Do I remember right and that the roads around the Toranafest site are 40 Km limited

Said they needed a lift to Newcastle but I think they will find it a bit cramped in the back of my Hatch.

With close to a 100 cars last year and this year should be bigger,I'm sure there will be a Torana with a spare seat.

Should be some one with a spare bed at the Fest Motel and my SS has a spare front seat and there is NO way you would ever fit in the back with my load of stuff

I hope these blokes in my room dont snore otherwise they will be getting kicked outside like the cat
might bring some earplugs just for back up
i know kieth snores like a locomotive

There are two of us, so there will be stereo-phonic chain saws backed up by the occassional freight train :P

So you might have to :surrenderwave: AND sleep outside :stirpot:

For anyone heading up from the Central Coast, we usually have a small convoy (5 or so cars) that head up via the Pacific Highway (much nicer than the freeway!)

We will be meeting here as per every other year-

Thanks for the offers Mick and Barry. If I can manage to get the motor out of my LX through the week I will be heading up saturday morn. Worst comes to worst I will bring my swag and rough it somewhere on the side of the road. Would be more than happy to hold a camera or 2 for the chance of a seat for the cruise.
Robs mate dropped into work today and just stirred up the itch to get there this year... cannot wait to see and hear all the toranas cruising the streets of Newie

What time you leaving on saturday morning? If my transmission goes well ill be leaving probably around the 7.30 mark

Havnt decided as yet. Availability of accom will be a factor but as I said, i will have my swag. :spoton:

no worries , at this stage it looks like my hatch is not going to make it now :( test drove it today and still slipping in overdrive not farkin happy especially when it sat there for 9 days getting nothing done and now gets rebuilt and still the same, possible valve body issue ?? Who knows not happy though
