Just a guess, but I thought they might be from the rear quarters of a hatch, don't know for sure as I don't have any for my Hatch.

Cheers Paul.

Well the are the rear quarter relief valves form my LH , I noticed that one has top screw fixing holes and the other has none just a locating lug on the back and screws on the bottom.

The ones on the left are for Hatch I believe and have a slotted relief on top and just screw in the bottom. The 4 door have screws top and bottom I think.

The parts catalog page 581 shows the hatch vent with two screws and the parts listing specifies two screws per vent. My hatch vents were replace with speakers a long time ago.

The hatch ones are more triangle shaped and also symmetrical back to front. (You can see it in the parts catalogue pic) The ones in the picture above are more tapered at one end than the other. As for the difference in holes missing, maybe torana / HQ and a set of later HX / Z or something??

Thinking Monaro or ute. Believe they also had these vents.

- but def' not hatch vents. They are diamond shaped.

L34 used the ones with only one screw.......

I just don't know.
I joked to the last owner that it was taking weight reduction a bit far.........

One of our L34 gurus should be able to confirm it. The detective I heard it from got it from one of them.

Assumption would be that other cars may have got them, but the market would be L34 restorers.

Grant..

Less weight means more fast.
