The car is now is 99.5% finished, just a few things to tidy up before engineering and rego.
Went for quick squirt today but had to take it easy due to the paint on the front discs still to be worn off.
It is evil in every aspect, very happy with look, the sound and the power.
Things left to do:
- buff the paint and adjust all the gaps on the panels.
- finish of the kick plates and fit the facia for the shifter.
- water squirters
- Changes to rego and finish the engineer's report
here is a little rev up.

Not much to update, going to to painters to adjust the final panel gaps and cut the paint back.
Engineer has picked up a few things to re-register it.
- Roll cage need to be removable nowadays so now it will be modified to " look" removable.
- It can only registered as a two seater even with the removable taxi bar. Not enough head clearance in the back. Not fussed about that.
- Will need to put the old nine inch back in as the current one is to short to throw stockies on.
In the mean time, I purchased a little home for the hatch in the shed.
And as usual when I buy anything either it arrives damaged or blows up in the week or so, this time it was damaged.

Very nice. Gonna see it at the L34 drive?
Not engineered yet and I flew out of Perth this morning for work.
Not far away, working towards taking it to motivation if all goes well.

Thanks for the invite Garth, the car will be part of S&E autos display but i'll defiantly drop past and say g'day.
The owner of S&E's is organising the entry of the car so I'll have to confirm what i'm entered in and get back to you.

As posted in the Western Australian section under motorvation http://www.gmh-toran...-2015/?p=879424 the hatch was entered into the
action elite pavilion. I ended up with a top 10 trophy that I wasn't expecting with some nice cars on display.
The first drive I couldn't of been happier, the power and sound of the motor at full noise was everything I hoped it would be.
After a few laps a little wheel vibration started and it started to jump out of gear half way through a burnout, the only teething issue. Talking to a few of other competitors it may be just a shifter issue.
It goes back to to the shop on Monday to start the engineering process so it can be re-registerd. Shorten diff will come out and the original put back in to suit the standard tyres, rear seats removed (licensed as two seater)
Roll cages now need to removable in places, so a few fake brackets mounted in the correct spots will cover that.
And that should finish it,

G'day SmartE, just read the whole thread, love yer work!
I can't wait to see the car over this side of the world when/if you get to the Nats or the Fest.
Just a silly question if I may, do you know how they measured the rear seat head height and what that minimum measurement is?
And was this height too small because of the roll cage or because of the seat bases?
Engineer has picked up a few things to re-register it.
- Roll cage need to be removable nowadays so now it will be modified to " look" removable.
- It can only registered as a two seater even with the removable taxi bar. Not enough head clearance in the back. Not fussed about that.
- Will need to put the old nine inch back in as the current one is to short to throw stockies on.

That really does look fantastic, well done!!
I've been tossing up between silver or a deep blue with black outs for my car when paint time comes but I think you've swayed me to silver.
Do you remember off the top of your head what silver it is?
Congrats on the award.
