This number and the date code are stamped in the same line on the top edge of the booster above the MADE IN AUSTRALIA stamping .
For example - VH324.10.G3

on the rear where there a rear rubber boot it says VH2011
And on the front looking seal thingy it says VH2015

The HK - T boosters had a ss plate on them at the front bottom face, the LC could well have been the same, as both at one period had the same short input shaft.
I have looked iinto the dates a bit and they seem to be in date batches to match the batches of XU-1's that were produced.
By the time the LJ XU-1 was produced I think there was a deviation from the same boosters as the HG as those then had the long input shaft.
As far as I can tell from the example I have all the last batch 1973 Boosters would be 10 G 3 or somewhere close to this date, any changes to this?
Looking at the booster pictured it would seem to confirm this theory, as it is a date match, is it from a Aug or September 73 XU-1 also?
