Hey guys, thought I'd stick a few more pics in here seeing as I've had a few messages about it. Firstly, my sarcasm obviously goes un noticed as the amount of messages I've had in regards to the "2mm gap" incidient are hilarious. There is no 2mm gap. I was taking the piss. Anyway, there's been a bit more done so I'll stick a few pics in here.
I can't even remember where I was up to so I'll just start at making the torana drop tank mount and filling the spare wheel well hole in there rear floor.
There were a couple of little rust holes that needed attention too.
This section behind the rear bumper needs to be remade. All the different swages made it fun to make. Hooray for bead rollers : )
I had to convert the rear mounts to stud mount as opposed to captive nuts as the boot floor is a lot higher in this car than a commodore.
I just plug welded some 3mm flat bar inside the new panel and welded the bolt to that.

Next up was mounting the tank.
I then had to make new bumper mounts and smooth out the bumper as we don't want the rubber strip or the mounting bolts.
I had to cut the SLE extensions down a fair bit to fit in with the flares, but that's life : )

The A pillars are still rotten with rust so next job was to start on them.
It's not finished yet but I primed it up anyway to seal it all.
