I wonder if a Mallala Saturday/Display Sunday as once done by the GT club could fly as a fund raiser.
For the cause I wish it was in my capacity to partake, good luck with it.

great cause as i lost my dad to Leukaumia
but fxck me whats with the entrant fees as dangerous & the baron said why hit the entrants so damn hard as without the entrants you have no event....
The event is staged for october and begining of november 2013 ,the entry fee of $1100 includes accomodation and breakfast and dinner everynight for driver and co driver. You also have to raise minimum $2,500 for the cause . All donations are tax deductable. These organisations need our help.Government sees fit to give $500 mill to fund indonesian alquida terrorist training schools but not much for the unlucky residents inflicted by these hidious diseases. At least 2 members of this forum have entered this years event which is open to 65-77 muscle cars and others of interest and replicars.

Not cheap to go to and enter historic races either ( interstate at least) , 4 nights accomodation at P.I. recently $ 1K ( long weekend rates of course ).
The entry of $1100 is pretty good considering it covers meals and accom. for 2 / under $100 a day each....
I understand there will be fuel costs involved but they are there no matter what if you use your car or travel any distance......
It's still an affordable event at this stage but i fear popularity may well send the costs upward in the future so i would say now is the time to participate , plenty of time to chase those sponsors to raise the $2500...

It certainly was a great day, I don't mind pulling it out for a good cause.
There was certainly plenty of fun had during the couple of sound off activities. The L34 certainly put the frauds to shame!
