What was factory on 308? Studs or bolts for the exhaust manifolds?
If it were bolts, is there a certain grade or style of bolt which is best suited?

Depends on the era, but they are all set screws or bolts. They differ greatly though from HT through to VL, mainly in length and spacers. So it depends upon the car. If this is for your 1975 LH it should be 10 x set screws with flat washers and 2 x long bolts with spacers which hold the stove for the heat pipe to the air cleaner intake. My manifolds are off my HJ at the moment if you want photos. I assume here LH is the same as HJ.

Ahh yes. Sorry should have been a lot more specific. Yes I am referring to the 308 in my LH. So since I don't have the original bolts..... What's bra to use in place of them?
And interesting about the two longer bolts for the stove pipe? Mine is only affixed to the manifold via one bolt???

Here is another pic of the stove fitted I the manifold via only one bolt. Am I missing something?
