Well the poor 4-Door LJ numbers would be lower due to heaps been used for 2-Door LJ rebuilds, but with the new parts out, u would think this might of stopped it, and i guess the poor old UC Rana's would be low due to the UC's been used for parts for LX Torana's, as in doors and boot lids, so the UC Torana numbers would be down and the LJ 4-Doors numbers would be down than any other Torana model.

Suprising to see LX was outsold by LH and more suprising UC! Only about 42,000 LX sedans made. I wonder what the breakdown would have been from here i.e. how many LX Sedan - 4 cyl, how many 6 cyl and how many V8??
Also how many of the 8,500 LX hatch's were 4cyl, 6 cyl and V8??

Ive got onan LX getting the rust cut out at the moment. Buying some rust cuts, i went to a local blokes house who has a genuine bathurst LX race car, Peter Brocks LH SL/R 5000 he raced before he got the L34 and pranged at the front, + 2 other SL/Rs + at least another 6 I saw for spares.. Pretty cool.

my daughters LC 2 door that i will get on road for her in next couple of years,thats another 1 for the count,here in Hervey Bay QLD i know of at least 20 more LC to UC torries that are going back on road or already are

it would be more easy to put down how many cars you have wrecked, cut up and sent to torana heaven.
i have done at lease 50 cars and put one the road the same or a few more over the last 20 years.

The oldholden mob reckon the torana was in production for 11 years, there were six series of models and they made 370,000 sales. They list the following production figures:
Torana 67-69 = 36,561
LC 69-72 = 74,627.
LJ 72-74 = 81,453.
TA = 9,288.
LH 74-76 = 71,408.
LX = 50,000 (8,527 were hatchbacks -makes them super special) and
UC = 53,007.
Grand Total = 376,344
The torrie nuts voting system on the forum has come up with 88 confirmed or suspected cars so far. Hang on, I've got one so make it 89 and I know of another bright yellow LJ project in a shed so that makes 90.
I'm guessing forum members have got them all? Hot damn toranas are cool .......
Any breakdown of the hatches Into categories ? (sl Ss a9x numbers ? )

Gee that puts the 100 A9X hatches into endangered species category - 0.2%! No wonder you couldn't find one 10 years ago when they were affordable, now even if you do the price is only in collector category unfortunately. Ah well, at least that means they will survive for a long long time yet!

theres a uc next door, and ive heard theres a 40ft container with 2 genuine lj xu1's somewhere in south western nsw and i was told that the container is about 3 feet below the surface. :/ not sure if this true or not.

Ive got a 73 GTR and a 4 door resto project on the go .
But i killed 1 in the 80's ,now im am trying to repent my sins hence the 4 door resto project as im using parts donated from the fallen one .
If I knew then what I know now I wouldnt have let some others slip away!!!!!
