I'm having the same problem, they work fine when switch is on but turn the switch off and they slowly keep going if the wiper arms are touching the motor to give it a ground, is the motor faulty or something else...

Open the wiper motor up, there is a problem with the park contactor, or the cam that operates the contactor in the wiper motor itself. This little gadget keeps power to the wiper motor till it gets to the park position. If there is a problem with it, your wipers just keep going. Can't recall the exact configuration, but you'll work it out as soon as you open it up.
