As a general smartass and know it all, the bay to birdwood is safe and will continue. They are targeting the targa rally which completely closes roads. B to B doesnt shut down any roads at all.

This has been done by the moron councils. Living in on the eastern edge of Victoria Park, I know how moronic Burnside, Norwood/Payenham/St Peters and Adelaide City councils all are (my previous post). However, I think the government has major events legislation to protect the Clipsal (at least I hope they have).

with the revenue clipsail raises ...i doubt the council will get final say......or any further funding if it holds sway....As a general smartass and know it all, the bay to birdwood is safe and will continue. just as a side note...how much revenue would be raised from legal/illegal parking over the 4 days clipsal is on?
food for thought....
even the targa classic could be classed as a major event
mind you all they want is votes and $$$$
and cheap easy targets lol

Councils cant stop people driving on a public road to get to a destination. all they can do is try and stop the planned route going through there area. that being said if a motorist chooses to drive that way there is nothing they can do. They are NOT the law, and only if a road closure is in place can they do anything. (they arent gonna close greenhill road or fullaton road to stop the bay to birdwood entrants driving through the area ever.)
