By using a upper arm mounts on the housing like ls2lxhatch has shown. Moving the arm closer to housing gives more rear grip mid corner I found.
It has been done before, having height adjustment for lower arms(v8 supercars), I don't personally know people that have messed with that yet.
I have got plans to change to An equal arm length 3 link, time and mainly money keep it on hold.

My new 9" is being build by Final drive with 35 spline Moser axles, adjustable upper and lower trailing arm mounts, coil over brackets & 60mm shorter each side. Original quote was $1990 but i think it will be a little bit more.
