Yeah I'm hearin Ya Bomber... The mere Mention of an Inline 6 Power & most "mechanical / fitters" start scratchin thu ole noggin with dribble like "can't be done m8"...... Go get a Doug Nash 5 speed = Problem Solved as you could "make dat fit".....I dont, yet, lol.
At the time couldnt afford a manual that would take the required abuse, so went auto, will go back to manual eventually after i decide upon a box, TKO 500 should do the trick....Or maybe a 600 just for safeties sake.
Neither Dellow or Mal Wood seem interested in a bellhousing to go from TKO to a holden six, as they say i will never make enough hp to need one (I laughed), But you can get munchie to holden six, and you can get a TKO with munchie bolt pattern IIRC.
Was funny, after Dellow telling me a supra box will handle anything i can throw at it, i said "can you absolutely 100% guarantee that i will never break a supra box sidestepping a button clutch with a blow through turbo at 7000rpm?" and old mate on the line went real quiet.....
Cheers.
