Hi, I have an LC Lj Tail shaft thats 1390mm from uni to end of yolkon the trans end, and I am looking for one that is about 1420 to 1430 uni to end of the yolk trans end, are any of the LH LX or any others just that little bit longer than the LC tail Shaft,
I Don't need this for my LC its for the FB I have put a red motor and trimatic in the FB Holden and was told LC tail shaft would fit but the one from my LC fits in the trans and uni socket on the diff but the yolk only goes in the trans maybe an inch and I think it should go in a bit further than that,
Any info would be great especially if you have a suitable tail shaft that you don't need,
Im in Adelaide just incase someone has one the right length,
thanks

Surely someone has an LH tailshaft they could measure for me, even if you don't want to get rid of one just so I know if thats what I am after or not,

I have a heap of shafts if you work out length but I have LX one in my EH and is bit short and I thought FB and EH were about same length.

I have some tailshaft details here that may be of use to you.

Measurements are centre of the uni to centre of the uni
Cheers Paul.
