Go with the original size pipes Brad, you've done everything else correctly- dont stop now.

Yeah mate for sure. With the help of fellow members here Ive sourced a company that can supply an entire system including the 1 5/8in tailpipes. Which means I could have a go at fitting it myself at home rather then have the car get scratched, damaged or destroyed by taking it to an exhaust shop, and also saving me several thousands of dollars.

Got the stock engine pipes fitted and added the balance pipe in. Need to get the inlet/outlets of the mufflers flared open just slightly so I can fit them onto the pipes.

Good work Brad, any problems fitting other than the mufflers?

Well the RHS pipe was a NOS Berklee brand, so it fitted up fine. The LHS pipe was from Autoline, I had to weld in the balance pipe however. But that was no big deal.

But yeah nah, dropped the sway bar out of the way and the engine pipes just fitted in perfectly.

Hopefully the mufflers and tailpipes fit up ok.....As at this stage I've only fitted the engine pipes.
