Not a good thing.
We are in Melbourne so anything can happen!
Let's still keep Sunday open, in case it's OK outside.

Do you guys out East have a plan yet?
I'd chip in but I don't know any of the spots you've mentioned so far.

Can we get something set in concrete by Friday at the latest?
Just in case it's all set to go.

Otherwise, we can put it back a week.

Let's organise this Sunday 'eh?

OK if you guys are still keen, i will try and attempt to write something up tomorrow.

If we keep it this sunday and if it rains, if anyone still shows up we can either call it off and head to a pub for lunch, or postpone it for a week or whenever.

Brett and me looked at some spots on the weekend, some that arent exactly a venue, but could look kinda cool as a pic. Things like on the way back from one location we could follow the train tracks and just pull over and havea row of cars, rustic look. Nothing flash, just simple background which makes the cars stand out more.

If i write something up tomorrow i cant post it, so ill have to get brett to put an attachment on, which may be wednesday at the latest.

I just spoke to Deb and she has written up a pretty good basic set of directions covering 4 or 5 locations all around our local area. Should make for some good pics, so it looks like we're all set for this Sunday. Deb suggested meeting at Club Kilsyth carpark in Bayswater North, and leaving there around 10:30am. (Corner of Canterbury and Colchester Rd's). Does that sound ok?

The first stop off is a big open area, has a cool background, and also perfect for group shots. Second is Transdiff as previously discussed - mainy for the graffiti wall, but there is also a 2nd graffiti wall here too, as well as a couple of other plain walls, dark and grey, so plenty of options.

Then a cruise over to Ferntree Gully, few possible stops on the way (including railway background as mentioned). Once in FTG, another awesome graffiti wall, plus grassy areas (FTG library) which can work awesome, and also Pool Room carpark (plain concrete), works well.

After that we can just wing it. Either keep cruising for other spots, or hit a pub for lunch (either stay in FTG, or for more of a cruise, head over to Ringwood for Daisy's). Either way, should be fun.

If anyone else is still interested and keen for it, we'll be there for sure.

as he mentioned i wrote up a rough guideline last night, but want to go over it in the melways to make sure which turns we need to make etc.

But bretts given you the bacics anyway.

No heath, but the First stop i think is right near Bayswater station, then the next stops in FTG are next to ferntree Gully Station and the Final few spots are right near Upper Ferntree Gully Station!

Well, I just saw the weather report, and all weekend looks like crap!
So I vote for the 9th, and that should give us more time to recruit more cars!
Will make the guys unavailable this weekend happy!

If this weekend is looking crappy, Sunday 9th is certainly looking like the better option I reckon. Deb and I can make it that day for the cruise, but just not for the lunch afterwards... But I like the idea of getting the max amount of cars we can...
