they arnt exactly cheap, not many people are fitting ecotecs, they are l67s the factory supercharged engine, stockers wont leave you much change from 2-2.5k. Thats a fair bit more than your boat anchor 308 or 202 plus wiring/mods and making everything work. Its hardly a tightarses way out of making a performance car like you are trying to make it out to be.No style Bomber ... thats the problem
They are an ugly motor but they keep using them cause they are cheap and available

Got all the bits you need... and this seems to be the usual way
I guess it depends where you are... some parts are more accessable in different areas/states
Still think they are a poo looking motor
