Motorvation at the MONEYPLEX absolute crap .... Aim for gazznats at collie much better organizational ..and actual drive time is a buzz .. Motorplex is only concerned about themselves and not the people that make it great (( us and our cars ))

However... most other "nats" I have been to have much less regard for safety of driver , car security and patrons

I enjoy motorvation for what it is, is a pain they keep putting their prices up but is still a blast, but i still goto gazza Nats and power cruise. All good but different

well said purple E, i dont know about that been around a long time weather you enter the show or just walk around , we all go to to look around because thats what we do very tidy cars getting around i hav never enterd my car there but i hav been to a couple of times, there should be more , shows you are write slr355 the cars and the crew makes the show ,and they charge you a fair bit to be there,cheers

These type of events used to be all about the people the cars and the joy we give to those who can only dream of owning a ride like ours and I feel heavily that since motorvation has been at the moneyplex it has sadly turned into a MONEY based event .. For those who remember when motorvation was held at Burswood it was a great weekend and the atmosphere was electric ... now it's MONEY MONEY MONEY .. Powercruise is great but it's only been running for a few years and iv been to all with different cars and it is slowly turning to shit with new rules every year .. Gazanats was a fantastic event due to the fact that Gary and debby

Are bred as car nuts and know what people want in a car show ..... It's from the grass roots entertainers that put on a great show bring back the enthusiasm I witnessed all those years ago at Burswood as a young kid with bug dreams of owning a ruff Aussie car ( SLR5000) ..... I will support those who support the passion of tuff streetcars not those who only think of how fat they can make their pokets

I have just re-read this thread from start and agree with most points raised,everyone has there own takeon it .
I have not been to Motorvation for a couple of years now for various reasons but looking forward i am locking into this Motorvation as which ever way you look at it some of the best cars in the state will be there and you will be able to see and hear them run with some of the best skids you will see .
Due to my mining roster i have missed out on Gazzanats and Powercruise this year again ,will be home for Chrome bumper weekend at Collie in 2 weeks which as long as i sort all the little gremlins in the hatch i will be attending which has got to be one of the best events going 1/8th mile bushdrags are great.
Anyway in the interest of all things Torana and Aussie Muscle i am going to book in to camp the cutoff is this Friday for entry online at most recent price Col "FATSLR" is keen to lock in as well so we are going to do a "group" entry .
Going to book under the name "GMH TORANA.COM" unless someone else here onthe forum has entered and doesn't mind a couple of hanger ons if not and you are keen to come along we can all book in together.

It's looking like next year for me couldn't change my roster and work on the my hatch has just about come to a hault waiting the diff to be built. I have had no luck with the shows this year due to my roster.
