first car. We will never part ways.
How many others feel this way?
I've had my car so long, it was my first car and even though it's starting to look like a clunker, selling it doesn't seem like an option.

24 years i've had mine, still to this day one of the nicest cars i've ever driven......
Around 1977 my friend bought a black LH SLR5000 from Precinct Performance at Newcastle, beautiful looking car, I think he sold it around 1979. I dont have anymore info, but would love to know in anyone in Newcastle remembers it, or what may have happened to it. i'll try to talk to my mate and see if I can get a photo and some more info.. I haven't seen him for a while.

I'll keep mine forever too. Not that I like it that much, it's great to tease my kids with. A few friends get to see inside my workshop and its priceless to see them lift the tarp and realise what is under there. One day I'll send it to Waddingtons or Street Ridz for a total restoration and put it back under a tarp.

Had the wife's LC for about 7 or 8 years. It was more or less finished with a 253/Trimatic and Borg Warner diff but we decided to give it a lick of paint before rego. It'll be on the road by the end of the year or I'll be in a whole world of trouble.
