XU2 the PSN records are acturly production date records not warrenty records line of production and yes chassie number are not listed
Richo, if you have a look at the top of each page of the PSN records you will see it clearly states 'SERVICE WARRANTY REPORTING' and under that it says 'VEHICLE MASTER LISTING'.
The way it worked was when a new vehicle came back to the Dealer for the first service the dealer was supposed to fill out a form with the PSN and engine number and send the form to GMH. Up until that was done GMH had no records of what engine number belonged to which PSN.
Sometimes the Dealers must have forgotten to do this or the car never came back for the first service, hence why some PSN's don't have an engine number recorded.
