Well Richo, what is it truth or lies?

The following is a copy of the post you made in the other thread that has now been locked. I like the bit where you state you don't own this car. So whose car is it???

Quote: Ok well the color Sagman is willow the standed HQ LH LJ willow solid color it is not a vairent of willow it bears the 5 digets as u say, most likly there posably maybe others if and only if they have savived the holacost of crushing machiens and scrap merchants?
If any one has one you now i whould like to see some pics of it.
I dont own this car but its highly likely that there was very few or if any more ever made and suvived as the colour is very underzirable color dont you think.
The previous owner menchand there was maby only 4 ever this color.

Guys i do own this car not the car you guys refered to you seen sold on ebay
The car at one stage has been painted whight the only part left painted willow was the bonnet hinges :nopity: :driving:

Correct me if I'm wrong but in Richo's last pic it looks like a std 10gall fuel tank vent pipe or could it be the sender unit wire on the rear panel behind the seat.

I don't mind if I'm wrong 'cause it's hard to distinguish properly in your pic if it's a wire or a vent pipe but it does look like whatever it is it's lining up with the rubber vent pipe grommet in the boot floor.

Hi all
it comes to my attend lately,i have looked at (4) engines listed on the 150 list of 9/2E cars ranging from JP386 to JP389 that dont have internal parts.*quote* Norm Darwin Book Joe Felice says the total number was lower rather than higher and that there was no guarantee that all engines on the GMP&A list had all the documented bits anyway *end ouote* After speaking to Dave Bennett at Perfectune now retired the 27F3 head was for the race teams(cars) or spare parts having casting months 9.10.11 H and were machined at perfectune and 60 to 70 returned in 1981 to preston motors for spare parts, only 20F3 were used on production cars?has some one else pulled down a 150 listed engine and found just standard parts.
cheers

Hi anthony Grait to hear from you,did you speek to dave bennet did you man that big paw motor what i site to see hay,I think Ron Harrop was involved too with the design of that engine Did Dave tell you how the Yellow Terrar heads got there name?
In an engine biulding book my mate has it said 250 heads of the 73 XU1 where given to him from Holden at 2 diffrent Dates
Harry Firth over viewed all the machine work.
I remember reading about that they finished one particular head brang it out front slamed it down on the counter and some one said "Yella Terra" refering to the head and that suposadly stuck in Harrys or Daves mind,
From there the name of Yella Terra was bourn. Attached File  ani-gifs-emotes-1417042822.gif   36.74K   1 downloads
