Late LH's and LX's did not have Willow as a colour...
The Hatch in the picture above is Antelope.
Willow is a solid colour and Antelope is a metallic

Don't believe everything that you see..
It's interesting how the colour of the Willow XU-1 looks exactly the same as the Glacier White XU-1... But then again, maybe I am colour blind... LOL!
I have sent them an email informing them of the incorrect colour naming for the LX SS Hatchback..
Yes the LH was Released in Willow i should no unless the one i had owned was just a vision of my amagination the car sat in my front yard for many years and i just didnt get around to doing anthing with it i regret that it was the solid colour of WILLOW Mick
I wasn't doubting you and your old LH as I don't know the build date of your car, I was merely correcting you that the LX SS in the picture was Antelope..
If you go to this thread, you can see for yourself how close these two colours are;
http://www.gmh-toran...a-paint-charts/
Willow was introduced to the Holden colour range in March 1973 and remained until October 1974, and
Antelope was introduced in October 1974 and remained until November 1978.
So therefore, naming the SS Sketch as Willow, is incorrect..
One interesting thing that I noticed was that they didn't have the bumper overiders on the front bumper, yet they are on the back one... Shame, I was looking at buying one of these..
cheers
Mick

Yes i see what you mean even thow the code was the same by vin somtimes for a modle when looked up by paint book tthe car had a vaireation of the colour 2 or 3 vairints of it as you whould now coulors are made by tints so an acural 74 LH by paint book might have more and less or even a extra or minus a tint then the other models say 73 XU1 or say HQ 73 but still calling it WILLOW.Don't believe everything that you see..

I do recall now seeing my LH as a more type of Grey Brown then some HQs i have seen.
The paint jpeg you have listed could allso vairy becouse of the computor RGB colour you have, it is always not a good way to vairify the exact couler you could never coulor mach by looking at a JPG image then go paint the Car and try blending it in
But yes i do see what you mean now supose it depends on hoow mixis the paint too and what paint system is used
suposadly the System are able to acuratly mix any coulor but the tints for each system are none to be diffrent in coulor with diffrent names.
