Have a look at the black outs around the bottom of the sill and the beaver panel. Was that normal on these, I don't think I've seen that before.
If it wasn't in undercoat ;-) hehe it could clean up to be a decent car.
Is this the worst colour they were painted by gmh, no offence to anyone who owns one this colour.

Cheers Dave.

It aint no show car but clean enough. :)

Bog stock. 173, 3 on the tree, drums all round!

Has its original motor.

Slowly fixing little things but generally its pretty good.

When i first seen it i though eeeewww! Shit color! but it grows on you! (well it had too)

Obviuosly the main selling point for me was 2 doors!

PS I suspect its 1 of Richo's rare as XU1's in disguise!! But dont tell anyone!!!!!!!

Ok, yours looks much better than the previous one which looks much greyer.

Talking about colours growing on you, mine is Balmoral Green. At first I thought it needed to be changed but now it's grown on me. With a good polish it's even looking good. People used to say it's a shame about the colour but now people tell me how much it suits the car, I think they mean it in a good way. Lol.

Sorry Grant, I'm a fussy guy and notice details that I would be better off missing sometimes.
It has me curious though as it's a 73 Adelaide built car which looks like it's got a JL block, like mine.

Dave

It's called Moulding - Upper Quarter (two tone paint & vinyl roof).

Some people may call it a divider trim or moulding.

Note: the 2dr (all models) mouldings are listed with different part numbers to the 4dr (all models).

Wow, nice close up Trevor,

haven't seen these for sale yet, not that I need a set, but maybe a good idea to have on the shelf. Dave I
